Poetry by Eleanor Colligan
One Trick Pony

I’m sorry I only ever write
about hands. Specically,
the ones you wore
when your body was still
yours. Me and my bleeding heart:
don’t you know grief’s a cycle
that never ends. it only ever
starts.
